The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) has a FREE online credentialing program that teaches the fundamentals of woodworking. If you come to us with this credential, you will be ahead of others who have no experience and are looking for a job.

Step 1: Go to this website: AWI Industry Solutions | Specialized Woodworking Courses (awinet.org)
Step 2: Register for a free account. All you need is an email address. Register (awinet.org). Enter your information. Select “Individual” under Member Type when asked.
Step 3: You will receive an email verifying your email address. Follow the link. Click on “Forgot Password”.
Step 4: You will receive an email to reset your password. Follow the link and set a new password.
Step 5: Access the AWI IS section under “Education” on the AWI website.
Step 6: Enroll in the Principles of Woodworking Credential Package and START LEARNING!
Step 7: Complete the Principles of Woodworking Credential and include that on your resume.
