We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of this prestigious project in Greenwich, CT. Bergan had the honor of collaborating with A.P. Construction as the general contractor, and Gensler, the renowned architectural firm.
One of the standout features of this project was the incorporation of floor-to-ceiling doors, which presented several challenges for our team. The goal was to achieve minimal reveals, giving the space a seamless and modern aesthetic. However, the installation of door hardware can be particularly tricky in cases like these. Fortunately, our experienced craftsmen meticulously worked through these challenges, ensuring that the doors were properly installed with hardware seamlessly integrated, meeting the client's requirements.
The finishes selected for the project were intriguing and diverse, adding an extra layer of complexity to the undertaking. Custom stained walnut was utilized for wall panels, exuding a rich and timeless elegance throughout the space. Additionally, the incorporation of three different colors of high polished polyurethane panels and doors created a visually striking contrast, adding depth and interest to the design. The use of high-gloss plastic laminate doors and cabinets and custom metal trim throughout further contributed to the contemporary and polished feel of the project.
